The Acid Lab is a mobile GTA Online business that converts supplies into product for you to sell. Its dedicated delivery bike makes it practical for solo players who want a business alongside their missions and contracts.

There are three separate tasks to understand: unlocking the lab, improving production, and managing profitable deliveries. Completing the story missions does not automatically give you every business upgrade.

How to unlock the Acid Lab through First Dose

1. Begin the First Dose storyline associated with Ron and Dax.
2. Complete the six First Dose missions, ending with Off the Rails.
3. Complete the required lab-equipment collection objective.
4. Visit the Freakshop and arrange the Acid Lab installation with Mutt.

The lab operates inside the MTL Brickade 6×6. Budget for the installation price displayed in your game; earning the vehicle through the storyline and paying to install the business are different steps. Temporary promotions can alter your costs.

How to unlock the equipment upgrade

Complete 10 Fooligan Jobs requested through Dax to unlock access to the Acid Lab Equipment Upgrade. These jobs are separate from the First Dose story missions. Return to the Freakshop and purchase the upgrade after meeting the requirement.

The upgrade improves product value and production speed. Prioritize it over cosmetic changes if your purpose is earning money. Finishing the required jobs unlocks the purchase; it does not mean the upgrade has already been installed.

Supplies and product are different

Supplies are the materials consumed by production. Product is the stock you sell. When supplies run out, the business cannot continue converting materials into new stock. When product storage fills, you need to sell before creating more.

Use Mutt’s available supply options to buy materials or complete sourcing work. Purchased supplies reduce your sale profit but free up time for paid activities. Sourcing avoids that purchase expense but takes time you could spend elsewhere.

Should you buy or steal supplies?

Choose based on your available cash and other income sources. A new player may prefer sourcing while building a reserve. An established player may buy supplies and complete a contract while the lab works.

Compare net income, not the sale number alone. Subtract purchased supplies and other relevant costs. A bonus-week screenshot is not a normal-week earnings forecast.

How to sell Acid Lab stock solo

1. Check stock and prepare armor and snacks.
2. Choose a session appropriate to your risk tolerance; supported business sales can be launched in invite-only sessions.
3. Start the sale from the lab and read the assigned delivery instructions.
4. Use the delivery bike to complete the marked objectives.
5. Follow any police or escape requirements before finishing.

Public sessions can offer additional rewards under the game’s current rules, but also expose your delivery to other players. An invite-only session is a useful way to learn a route without that interference. Do not quit a sale expecting stock to be preserved without a penalty.

Why is the Acid Lab not producing?

Check whether supplies are empty, storage is full, or setup is incomplete. Production occurs during eligible GTA Online play; closing the game is not a way to generate stock. If a meter appears stuck, record its level, continue playing, and compare later rather than checking every few seconds.
